Senator Jay Rockefeller special guest at West Virginia biometrics event

The fifth annual Biometrics and Forensics Seminar and Expo event is being held in Washington, DC tomorrow at The Washington Court Hotel.

It is expected that special guests U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller and U.S. Senator Joe Manchin III will be in attendance. Governor Earl Ray Tomblin has also been invited to attend the event.

This seminar is designed for government and industry executives to explore business partnerships, synergies in research, and investment opportunities in West Virginia.

The event starts at 5:30pm with an investment briefing, followed by the exhibits and reception from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

Discover the Real West Virginia (DRWV) Foundation, the West Virginia Biometric Initiative (WVBI), the I-79 Development Council, and the West Virginia Development Office are hosting the event, with support from West Virginia University and Marshall University.
