Under the partnership, the Tactivo will be bundled with SPARC’s new mobile management platform, Knappsack, to bring increased security capabilities through multiple layers of authentication to federal agencies’ mobile applications. The company says it will also enhance the value and utility government users receive from their mobile apps.

Knappsack features a customizable open source infrastructure, as well as a streamlined platform interface to deliver centralized management of an organization’s array of mobile apps. Additionally, it enables federal agencies to securely upload apps to specific groups and to deploy selected groups to any device.
Reported previously, Precise Biometrics recently launched its popular Tactivo reader for Android.
Also, last month, the company signed an agreement with an auto manufacturer, in regards to its Tactivo reader.
