BIO-key International has announced five new sales partnerships, as it looks to advance its reseller sales support network.
The five new sales partnerships, include work with CAS Severn, a technology services company and Premier IBM Business Partner; ILANTUS Technologies, an integrated solution provider in the identity management, access management, access governance, federation and information security arena – also an IBM, CA and Oracle partner reseller; Palmetto Software Group, a consulting and software development firm; Pontis Research, a security consultancy and provider of managed security, identity and access management, and identity reporting services – also and IBM Advanced Business Partner; and Prolifics, a business solutions and transactional systems provider – another IBM reseller.
“By signing world class integration Channel partners of this magnitude, we enhance our ability to drive revenue, gain order flow and grow our business,” Jim Skidmore, SVP Global Sales & Channel Development at BIO-key said.
“The mounting interest in our technology, validated by the ongoing activity in the security partner channel is quite encouraging as according to industry estimates, as much as 80% of IBM software and appliance revenue is generated through their resellers. Consistent with our 2014 Business Plan and through these relationships we are expanding our pipeline and have already engaged in new deal opportunities.”
Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, BIO-key recently reported its results for Q4 and the full-year 2013, and said that it sees 2014 as a break out year for the company.
The company also recently added three new Directors to its Board, and appointed Michael DePasquale – the company’s CEO – to the Chairman post as well.
