June 4, 2014 -

Sonavation has announced that it will be in attendance at the upcoming DC Metro Cyber Security Summit 2014, and will introduce its ultrasound imaging and authentication technology to conference attendees.

The DC Metro Cyber Security Summit is set to take place tomorrow, June 5, 2014, at Tysons Corner in Vienna, VA.

“The DC Metro Cyber Security Summit 2014 addresses what we as a company hold at our very core — innovation to protect highly vulnerable information,” Bob Stewart, Chief Product Officer at Sonavation said. “As enterprise companies migrate data into the cloud and move towards more transactional business models, the need for secure authentication products and solutions has never been greater. Our patented ultrasound fingerprint scanning technology sets a new standard for authentication solutions for both physical and logical access, so we’re thrilled to introduce our solution to show attendees.”

The DC Metro Cyber Security Summit is sponsored by the Wall Street Journal, and aims to serve senior information security professionals.

According to Sonavation, the company will “soon provide an industry leading, secure one-to-one match of the individual with its ultrasound sensors across a number of smart edge devices.”

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, Sonavation joined the FIDO Alliance in 2012.

Earlier this year, the company launched its AXISKEY personal biometric authentication key fob device at the International Consumers Electronics Show.
