Suprema wins All-Over-IP’s “best product” award for fingerprint access control terminal

November 26, 2014 -

Suprema announced it won the “Best Product” award for its fingerprint access control terminal, BioEntry W, at this year’s All-Over-IP Expo in Moscow.

All-Over-IP is one of Russia’s largest exhibitions and conferences devoted to global IT, surveillance and security industries.

Suprema’s BioEntry W has all the benefits of an IP access control system combined with the high-level security of fingerprint biometrics.

The fingerprint access control terminal features a vandal-resistance and IP65-rated structure, enabling it to be installed outdoors to provide extreme durability in the harshest environments.

BioEntry W also features extensive communication interfaces and Power over Ethernet capability, making it a comprehensive outdoor fingerprint terminal for access control systems in the global market.

“We are very pleased to receive this prestigious award in the Russian marketplace, which has such potential for growth in the security business,” said Young S. Moon, vice president of Suprema. “Russia and the CIS region are one of the most important targets of our global business if we consider its economy and size of population as an emerging market. Suprema will target this market even more aggressively as ‘Best Product’ in global biometrics based security.”

Previously reported, Suprema recently held its Suprema Global Partner Program 2014 conference at the Paradise Hotel in Busan, South Korea.
