Middle East Homeland Security Summit to be held in Jordan

The Directorate of Gendarmerie – Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will host Fleming Gulf’s fourth annual Middle East Homeland Security Summit will be held October 6-8, 2015 in Amman, Jordan.

Last year’s event attracted over 250 participants consisting of high-ranking security officials and representatives from defence solution firms.

The participants delivered multiple presentations and panel discussions on a range of topics including nuclear security, aerial surveillance, maritime and critical infrastructure, border control and emergency response to terror attacks.

On the summit’s last day, participants were transported to a Gendarmerie unit site that provided a demonstration of the unit’s training program including hand-to-hand combat simulations and various other defence solutions that are required to maintain an effective homeland security program.

This year’s summit will be supported by the Jordanian Armed Forces, Royal Air Force – Jordan, King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center – Jordan, Royal Naval Force – Jordan and General Directorate of Civil Defense – Jordan.

The 2015 summit will provide participants and exhibitors several opportunities to interact and engage with industry thought leaders and experts, that will help accelerate their homeland security programs to protect them against terrorist threats.
