MorphoTrak names director of strategic marketing and government relations

MorphoTrak announced it has named Teresa Wu the company’s director of strategic marketing and government relations.

In this role, Wu will be responsible for developing and managing the company’s strategic marketing efforts, as well as manage the company’s government affairs outreach.

As the principal company liaison with policy stakeholders from federal, state and local government agencies, Wu will raise an awareness of MorphoTrak and its products and solutions to U.S. government stakeholders.

As an expert in biometrics, marketing, and biometrics-related policy matters, Wu joins MorphoTrak from 3M Cogent, Inc. where she served as global software solutions marketing director.

Wu has been a long-time advocate of corporate engagement with industry, government, and the forensic practitioner community.

She presently serves as VP of the European division of the International Association of Identification (IAI).

Additionally, she participates in several professional working groups, including the International Biometrics and Identification Association (IBIA) Privacy and Policy Working Group, the Secure Identity and Biometrics Association (SIBA) Airport Entry and Exit Re-engineering (AEER) Working Group, and the Integrated Justice Information Systems (IJIS) Institute Law Enforcement Imaging Technology Committee.

Previously reported, MorphoTrak announced that the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Crime Laboratory has formally accepted and is now using its new fingerprint identification system, Morpho Biometric Identification Solution (MorphoBIS), that was awarded in a competitive procurement.
