August 12, 2015 -

Precise Biometrics announced that it has partnered with Fingerprint Cards (FPC) to integrate its Precise BioMatch Mobile in a new smartphone from a Chinese manufacturer.

The company said the integration will generate license revenue starting from the third quarter 2015 for a yet-to-be-determined value that will be based on the number of sensors FPC delivers to the manufacturer.

”We welcome yet another user of Precise BioMatch Mobile,” said Håkan Persson, CEO of Precise Biometrics. “The launch of this new model further strengthens our position as the leading supplier of high performance software for fingerprint authentication in mobile devices.”

Precise BioMatch Mobile provides easy integration of fingerprint matching functionality for mobile devices, while being optimized for small touch sensors in mobile environments through a unique patented hybrid algorithm.

The fingerprint matching software provides fast, accurate, and secure verification of the user’s identity, ensuring a seamless user experience for consumers when unlocking their mobile device or authenticating to services, while delivering improved security.
