September 14, 2015 -

Precise Biometrics has partnered with Fingerprint Cards (FPC) to integrate their mobile fingerprint recognition technology in Blu’s new smartphone, Pure XL.

Launched last week, the Pure XL features a six-inch screen size and an FPC1025 fingerprint sensor on the back, powered by Precise BioMatch Mobile software.

Precise BioMatch Mobile provides seamless integration of fingerprint matching functionality for smartphones and tablets, and is optimized for small touch sensors in mobile environments through a patented hybrid algorithm.

The software is able to quickly, accurately, and securely verify the user’s identity, ensuring a convenient user experience for consumers when unlocking their mobile device or authenticating to services, while delivering improved security.

Previously reported, Precise Biometrics and Fingerprint Cards (FPC) announced they are providing the fingerprint technology for three QiKu smartphones.
