December 21, 2015 -

Precise Biometrics and Fingerprint Cards fingerprint technology has been integrated into the latest Gionee M5 Plus smartphone.

The device uses Precise Biometrics’ product for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices, Precise BioMatch Mobile and FPC1025 touch fingerprint sensor.

Just last week it was announced that the ZTE Axon Max also uses the FPC1025 touch sensor and Precise BioMatch Mobile.

Previously reported, Fingerprint Cards (FPC) stated in its investor update that its revenue guidance for 2016 is approximately $768 million to $1 billion and that it expects to grow faster than the market in 2016.
