BioConnect providing Multi-Health Systems with integrated authentication platform

June 22, 2016 -

BioConnect will be providing Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS) with an integrated authentication platform, using mobile biometric technology, to ensure MHS’ critical applications, IT infrastructure and physical access control are more secure.

MHS is a technology company focused on innovative digital delivery of data analysis and scientifically validated assessments for more than 30 years. MHS serves clients in corporate, clinical, educational, public safety, government, military, pharmaceutical, and research settings. Responsible for storing and securing sensitive personal health information (PHI), this partnership with BioConnect enables MHS to adhere to the highest standards of privacy obligated by HIPPA compliance demands all while having full transparency and auditability.

“We are extremely excited to partner with a global and Canadian leader in the scientific assessment industry. Both BioConnect and MHS are dedicated to strong product growth, optimal user experience, and demonstrate a commitment to innovation and quality,” says Rob Douglas, Founder and CEO of BioConnect. “Together, BioConnect and MHS are digitally and globally driven and BioConnect is enabling MHS to provide reliable and secure interactions for its customer network.”

According to a statement by the company, BioConnect’s Identity Platform will consolidate all client and employee identities into one platform that is device and system agnostic. MHS will utilize biometric authentication on mobile devices via the BioConnect Identity Platform for logical access to critical IT infrastructure, effectively replacing the need for passwords and PINs.

The solution is being deployed not only for access to applications but for an enhanced level of security and auditability for IT administration. The same level of security will also be extended to physical access control within MHS buildings. BioConnect’s solution will maintain a high level of accuracy of identity that will enable MHS to stay competitive and differentiate themselves in their industry, all while providing continued security assurance and innovation to all MHS clients.

“As innovative leaders and data amalgamators we understand privacy is an important concern especially with the ever evolving technology landscape, says Hazel Wheldon, President of MHS. “This partnership with BioConnect puts MHS at the forefront of privacy solutions for ourselves and our clients. This will not only improve identity management but will transform MHS’s scientific assessment landscape.”
