November 30, 2016 -

Today, the Coolpad Note 3S mobile device was launched, featuring Fingerprint Cards‘ FPC1035 sensor.

Earlier this year it was announced that Fingerprint Cards (FPC) and Precise Biometrics provided the fingerprint technology for the Coolpad Max and Max Lite smartphones. Both devices use Precise Biometrics’ algorithm solution for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices, Precise BioMatch Mobile. The Coolpad Max device features Fingerprint Cards’ touch fingerprint sensor FPC1025. The Coolpad Max Lite device features the FPC1035 sensor.

Yesterday, Juniper Research released a new study which finds that biometric authentication will be used in over 600M mobile devices by 2021.
