Crossmatch names former RSA executive as Authentication Market Director
Crossmatch announced that identity industry veteran Jeff Carpenter has joined the company’s marketing team as Market Director, Authentication.
Carpenter will be responsible for driving growth of the DigitalPersona Composite Authentication line of business.
In this role, he will manage product marketing strategies and development requirements that support new market penetration.
“Jeff brings a wealth of experience and security industry knowledge to Crossmatch,” said John Hinmon, vice president of global marketing at Crossmatch. “He will be pivotal in accelerating our continued growth as one of the few complete authentication solutions available in a highly-fragmented market.”
Carpenter joins Crossmatch from RSA where he spent 10 years in various product marketing management leadership roles within the identity portfolio and authentication solutions business lines.
His background demonstrates a strong depth of knowledge understanding complex IT environments, authentication, SSO product strategy and cybersecurity landscapes.
Carpenter is a frequent speaker at industry events such as InfoSecurity Europe, RSA Conference and Gartner Symposiums, as well as provides insights for various publications on cybersecurity, cloud and mobile solutions.
Previously reported, Crossmatch’s DigitalPersona Composite Authentication was recently approved as a trusted Citrix-Ready solution.
