Biometric authentication prevents dual enrollment in clinical trials

April 4, 2017 -

Research Centers of America (RCA) has implemented Verified Clinical Trials biometric fingerprint technology to identify participants that are currently enrolled in other clinical studies.

Verified Clinical Trials research subject database registry prevents duplicate enrollment in clinical trials using a fingerprint registration system to identify participants that are currently enrolled in other clinical studies. Verified Clinical Trials is the only clinical research database registry designed specifically to enhance the quality of both early and late phase trials and has the scalability to reach all sites nationally as well as on a global level.

The quality of data in a clinical trial could be compromised by subjects of a trial participating in other ones without disclosing that information.

“On the very first day Research Centers of America prevented ineligible research subjects from joining their trial prior to a costly screening saving time and money while potentially reducing placebo rates for the sponsor,” commented Kerri Weingard ANP COO.
