Rawlson King, Biometrics Research Group Inc. (parent company of BiometricUpdate.com) contributing editor, was quoted in an article about surveillance in the weekend edition of the Ottawa Citizen newspaper.

Reporter Ian MacLeod examines what surveillance means for our privacy, and interviewed King about the impact of big data on privacy and personal security implications.

“Technology is emerging that allows us to be tracked at unprecedented rates by law enforcement and intelligence agencies without effective oversight,” says King. “I’m not conspiratorial but we have to at least start thinking about the potential impacts of the technology.”
