Gemalto releases multimodal biometric ID solution

Gemalto has released CABIS 7, a multimodal biometric identification solution designed to enable law enforcement and other government agencies to conduct biometrics-based identity searches with improved speed, accuracy and efficiency. The company also launched CABIS Core Cloud engine, expanding the support scope of Cogent’s flagship CABIS portfolio to include flexible and scalable cloud architecture. In May, Gemalto formally completed its acquisition of 3M’s Identity Management Business, 3M Cogent. CABIS 7 is the first major product release since Gemalto acquired Cogent.

AuthenticID licenses portfolio of payment authentication patents

AuthenticID has licensed a key portfolio of multimodal, payment authentication patent license from Collective Dynamics for the exclusive use with its identity validation payments platform.
