Europe’s largest biometrics event to be held in London
The Biometrics Exhibition and Conference, to be held in London from October 29 to 31 will bring together more than 50 top international speakers to reveal how biometric technologies such as fingerprint, facial and iris recognition, and the latest technologies such as DNA and odor, are being used to identify individuals for large-scale government projects, law enforcement and border control.
Apart from governmental applications, biometrics are set to become more mainstream in customer facing applications such as mobile phones and within social networks due to the rise of ‘soft biometrics’. The conference program will feature numerous case studies from around the world; take a look at the results from the latest trials and tests and features live demos.
The event will be the largest European event for end users, suppliers and integrators to share intelligence and experience on the practical implementation of biometrics.
In addition to a comprehensive three-day program featuring case studies, market analysis, technology developments and government research, an exhibition area featuring more than 40 leading suppliers and developers of biometric, smart card and identity management solutions runs alongside the conference.
Biometrics Exhibition and Conference 2012 is organized by Elsevier.
