Opus Research announces financial services roundtable at Voice Biometrics Conference
Opus Research, presenters of the Voice Biometrics Conference, set to take place May 8-9 in San Francisco has announced it will convene an expert roundtable to discuss practical experiences in fraud prevention and customer authentication from the financial services perspective.
In particular, panelists include Ken Palla, Vice President of Union Bank; David Pollino, Fraud Prevention Officer from Bank of the West; and Advait Deshpande, Sr. Manager of Client Services at Vanguard Securities.
The conference set to take place in less than three weeks will feature more than 30 speakers from around the world to discuss the voice biometrics space.
Registration for this event is live online, and a full conference pass is $699.
Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, PayPal chief information security officer Michael Barrett, a respected security industry executive and well-known for his ground-breaking work in identity management, will deliver the opening keynote for the conference highlighting a need for more convenient, strong authentication for electronic commerce and mobile banking.
Matt Smallman, of Barclay’s Wealth and Investment Management will also present a keynote case study at the conference.
In addition to financial services, Opus says this year’s event highlights the potential for voice biometrics to enhance the quality of customer experience and security for telecommunications, consumer electronics, healthcare, government services and mobile commerce.
