ievo boasts Paxton Net2 integration and CPNI rating

ievo fingerprint readers are now embedded into Paxton’s Net2 software and according to the company, this integration along with a new CPNI rating attracted significant interest at IFSEC 2013.

“The combination of the ievo® biometrics solution and Paxton’s Net2 software user interface is a great advantage for our customers,” Gareth O’Hara, Sales and Marketing Director for Paxton said. “Net2 software has always been focused on its ease of use, and this integration solution allows any level of user the ability to enrol fingerprints as simply as they previously enrolled proximity tokens.”

The process for adding and controlling users has been streamlines and is built upon standard integration. The administration system does not change, meaning the transition between the ievo reader and the Paxton software is seamless, says the company.

The Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) has recently issued the ievo ultimate biometric reader with an rating that informs government clients that it has been approved for use. As for which rating this refers to, the company only says that it is “special” and “undisclosed.”

“We have been very busy at the stand this year, with more and more people flocking to see the impressive integration with Paxton and the newly certified ultimate biometric reader,” Managing Director Shaun Oakes said. “This has really helped us separate ourselves from competitors in the industry. We are now the only biometric to be fully integrated into Paxton increasing efficiency and usability, coupled with the CPNI accreditation we are continually ahead of our competitors. Security installers are now rest assured that ievo® is industry leaders in integration and credibility.”

Reported previously, early this year ievo secured funding — worth USD $318,800 (£250,000) — from the Finance for Business North East  and said it was on track to quadruple its earnings by 2016.

“At Paxton, we clearly recognised the opportunity presented by integrating our market leading Net2 system with ievo biometric solutions,” Paxton Group CEO Adam Stroud said. “Ultimately a better, easier to manage system for the customer.”
