Accurate Biometrics gets fingerprinting approval from Illinois State Police

Accurate Biometrics has announced that has just been approved by the Illinois State Police to perform fingerprint criminal history background checks for concealed carry firearm instructors.

“We are very pleased Accurate Biometrics can now start the fingerprinting process with Firearm Instructors,” Peggy Critchfield, president of Accurate Biometrics said. This is an important first step in complying with this law and sets the stage for the training of individuals seeking to apply for a firearm concealed carry license.”

Reported previously, Accurate Biometrics was recently awarded the Master Fingerprinting Services Contract for Illinois on a three-year term with two one-year renewal options. This contract included services for the Department of Children and Family Services, the Department of Human Services and the Department of Natural Resources.

The company was also awarded a fingerprinting contract from the Chicago Public Schools last year.
