Opus Research gives sneak peek of London Voice Biometrics Conference

Opus Research has started to assemble the agenda for this year’s Voice Biometrics Conference in London, set to take place November 6-7, 2013.

Among the headlining presentations are two case studies from the financial sector: Barclay’s Wealth and Tatra Bank, which have both recently deployed voice authentication systems. In addition, Daniel Thornhill from Validsoft will talk about a five-factor approach to authentication for mobile commerce. NICE Systems is set to outline approaches to passive authentication with interactive voice response systems for contact centers.

Levent Arslan, CEO of Sestek will present a multi-factor authentication system, which includes voice verification and speech recognition, also used in call centers. Brett Beranek from Nuance will also discuss multi-factor authentication and present successful case examples using the system.

According to the conference website, early-bird registration ends September 13 and is $780 (£499.00).

Reported previously, Opus’s previous Voice Biometrics Conference, which took place in May in San Francisco, featured a keynote from FIDO Alliance president and Paypal CISO Michael Barrett, as well as a keynote from Matt Smallman from Barclay’s.
