Security Solution Firm Viscount Systems Win Two US Federal Contracts

Security software and services provider Viscount Systems announced this week it has been awarded two new contracts to provide access control solutions for U.S. Federal Government facilities in New York and Louisiana.

Unfortunately, the government agencies could not be publically named due to contractual obligations.

The contract win follows the completion of the recent $500,000 deployment of Viscount System’s telephone access system biometrics-friendly Freedom access control software.

“We continue to fortify our relationship with agencies in the federal sector by gaining more of their business. Belief and endorsement in our Freedom Access Control technology continues to grow,” says Dennis Raefield, president and CEO of Viscount. “We are able to work with our federal partners and provide solutions that meet their requirements for cost, stable technology and focus on rigorous security standards.”

Freedom is an access control system that “allows entry devices to be connected to, and controlled by, standard building IT networks without requiring expensive control panels and wiring”.

The access control system protects facilities through access control, eliminates the high costs of traditional access control systems and provides an environmentally friendly solution.
