Opus Research to host VBC London 2014: The Voice Security & Authentication Conference

 

Opus Research announced it will host the VBC London 2014 (Voice Security & Authentication Conference), which will showcase a wide range of technologies that support simple, secure and trusted communications over the web, mobile phones and tablets.

The announcement follows the success of Opus Research‘s Voice Biometrics Conference San Francisco, held in May, which featured a keynote presentation from José Ignacio Zorrilla of Banco Santander Mexico.

Held November 18 to 19 at The Tower Hotel, VBC London 2014 will be attended by and decision-makers who are integrating voice into multi-layered and multi-factor communications for authentication and security fabrics.

The conference will provide an avenue to demonstrate various solutions designed to reinforce trustworthy relationships between enterprises, government agencies and their customers and constituents.

According to the website, the event will feature “provide case studies and real-world implementations using voice biometrics in conjunction with other technologies including risk analytics, facial recognition, phone-printing and other device signatures to lower the incidence and impact of phone-based fraud while making the world safe for mobile commerce, transaction authentication and cloud computing.”

At the conference, attendees will learn how their organization can establish trusted lines of communications over the phone or Web, identify secure ways to prevent fraudulent access to enterprise data or private networks, determine how partners or competitors employ the latest multi-factor authentication technologies to pursue their mobility strategies, and preview the latest products and services from solutions providers.

In the past, the conference has been attended by representatives from Accenture, Barclays, Google, Citi, Wells Fargo, Intel Corporation, ING, HSBC, BBVA, Lockheed Martin, JP Morgan Chase, T-Mobile, Raiffeisen Bank, Microsoft, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, IBM, and France Telecom, to name a few.

Registration is now open on the website. A special “Super Early-Bird” rate of £349.00, which offers 50% off the full conference price, is available until August 15.
