EyeLock incorporates Sticky Password in to iris-based identity authentication solution
Iris-based identity authentication solutions provider EyeLock announced it has partnered with Sticky Password, integrating its myris device with Sticky Password’s password management software to provide a combined solution that enables users to securely and easily log in to digital platforms.
As an iris identity authenticator that plugs into a USB port, EyeLock myris device is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS devices as well as supports Internet Explorer, Safari and Chrome browsers.
Once the myris application is loaded, the user can then enroll and the AES 256 encrypted iris code gets linked to Sticky Password’s password management software.
When launched for the first time, the application searches through the browser on the device to detect any passwords that have already been stored on it.
It then generates a secure database that includes the myris user’s websites, usernames and passwords.
The passwords are secured and stored on the myris ensuring that users do not have to write them down or memorize them.
The software provides a range of features and functions, including form autofill, which securely stores a range of form information; the ability to auto-detect those accounts with weak passwords and warn users of such; and automatic detection of programs or applications installed on the user’s system and auto-populate capabilities for a quick login.
Reported previously, VOXX International made a $3 million strategic investment in EyeLock.
