Several biometrics products including USB iris scanning device “myris” and the Linx Impact Assessment System from BlackBox Biometrics have been listed as honorees by the CES Innovation Awards, an annual showcase of consumer technology products that show outstanding design and engineering.

Products nominated for the CES Innovation Awards are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade media. Honoree products will be on display at CES Tech West’s Innovation Awards Showcase.

Made by biometric identity solutions provider EyeLock, myris allows users to create strong passwords which are securely stored, and entered using an iris scan using patented EyeLock ID technology.

Over the past few years, myris has won Mashable’s “Best of CES 2014”, the 2014 Red Dot: Product Design award and Popular Science’s “Best of What’s New” distinction.

BlackBox Biometrics’ The Linx Impact Assessment System is recognized as a 2015 CES Innovation Awards Honoree in three categories: Fitness, Sports and Biotech; Tech For A Better World; and Wearable Technologies.
