Biometrics and security technology provider Suprema has kicked off its Suprema Global Partner Program 2014 conference at the Paradise Hotel in Busan, South Korea.

An annual gathering of high-level Suprema staff and partners, the SGPP 2014 conference runs from November 12 to 13, 2014, and offers opportunities for attendees to network, learn about innovative solutions, and discuss best practices in leveraging Suprema technology. The conference is expecting around 60 attendees.

Suprema will provide SGPP partners a look at new products and solutions in development, and upcoming enhancements to its various product lines.

Suprema does a great deal of business through partners such as Entertech Systems, which is Suprema’s operating partner for the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, and most recently in the U.K. and Ireland. Earlier this year, for instance, access control software company ProdataKey went through Entertech to offer Suprema biometric products to its integration partners. And last year, Software House partnered with Entertech to use Suprema’s line of biometric devices and readers in its integrated access control solutions.

“Suprema aims at market leadership by concentrating on the development of technology and products that address rapidly changing trends and needs, so as to enable our partners and customers to achieve greater innovation and higher growth in business,” Suprema CEO James Lee said in a statement. “Listening to the voice of customers (VOC) is paramount, and that is the primary purpose for this conference.”

A major topic to be addressed in various panel discussions is the future of biometrics. SGPP 2014 groups these discussions under the heading “The Future is Easy,” meaning that simple, convenient and always connected solutions for customers are the clear way forward.
