Integrated Biometrics’ two-finger roll scanner helps drive sales of Credence ID’s biometric device
Integrated Biometrics announced that its Watson Mini two-finger roll scanner is helping drive sales for Credence ID’s Trident biometric capture device, an Android-based dual iris/fingerprint identification and enrollment platform.
Watson Mini is Integrated Biometrics’ mobile ID IQS FAP 45, FBI Appendix F certified two-finger roll scanner and SDK.
Credence ID said it has sold more than 500 units since it incorporated Watson Mini into its Trident biometric capture device this year.
“The strong sales of the Trident clearly demonstrate the value of the Watson Mini as the preferred solution for integration partners like Credence ID,” said Steve Thies, CEO of Integrated Biometrics.
Thies added that Watson Mini’s compact size and light weight coupled with the durability and accuracy provided by Integrated Biometrics’ patented LES technology sets it apart from other two-finger roll scan mobile biometric fingerprint readers.
Credence ID’s Trident device is able to collect simultaneous dual-iris images, despite the lighting conditions, with the 2.5” square Watson Mini integrated on top of the device.
The Trident device was recently deployed in Southeast Asia where it is being used for criminal booking, forensic adjudication, and interfacing with intelligence platforms.

The Watson Mini has been integrated in several different products for a range of sectors, such as military, law enforcement, airport/border security, financial, and healthcare, which require fingerprint sensors that are able to work in direct sunlight, on dry or moist fingers, and resist damage.
