Suprema announced that access control and door entry solutions firm Paxton has integrated its biometric technology into Paxton Net2 software, which centralizes administration and control of sites ranging from one to hundreds of doors, and thousands of users.

As a result of the partnership, Paxton Net2 software is able to seamlessly connect with Suprema’s biometric access control readers.

The integration maintains the user-friendly interface of the platform by providing integration via a plug-in to the existing platform software.

Net2 software users will be able to enroll users, create biometric tokens and automatically link user templates to Suprema readers through a new embedded ‘Suprema Biometrics’ button.

“The integration of Suprema’s biometric readers with Paxton’s Net2 access control is a good combination of state-of-the-art solutions in each category of biometrics and access control,” said Suprema Inc. VP Young S. Moon.

“This integrated solution will enable users to enjoy the power of Suprema’s biometric solutions under the same Net2 access control environment.”

By integrating biometrics, Net2 will be able to provide greater convenience and security through the benefits of true identity.

Additionally, the integration will meet many different user requirements through regular upgrade releases as well as introducing new functions and features in the near future.

“Paxton’s Net2 access control is built upon the foundations of being easy to install, configure and operate,” said Gareth O’Hara, Paxton’s sales and marketing director. “With Suprema’s growing reputation and global footprint this integration compliments Paxton’s growth strategy from a technical and commercial perspective, in both domestic and international markets. The Net2 integration extends that principal and focuses on transforming users’ needs into working solutions.”
