Precise Biometrics adds fingerprint image export functionality for Tactivo
Precise Biometrics announced that it has updated its Precise iOS Toolkit to enable administrators to export raw images of a user’s fingerprint from Tactivo.
The added functionality enables a wider implementation of biometrics in organizations by allowing developers to integrate fingerprint images into almost any solution.
Using Tactivo, organizations are able to implement fingerprint verification for a range of use cases, including document access/signing, time and attendance or application access.
Precise iOS Toolkit enables app developers to integrate two-factor authentication functionality – combining smart card and fingerprint verification or smart card and PIN code — into any app.
Precise iOS Toolkit includes an API and sample implementations for smart card integration, fingerprint enrollment and verification to ensure short development time.
Previously reported, Precise Biometrics recently received an order of 2,000 Tactivo smart card readers from a South American insurance company in a contract valued at 1.12 million SEK (USD $140,000).
