Suprema deploys biometric time and attendance system at Caribou Coffee in UAE

Suprema announced it has deployed a biometric time and attendance solution across Caribou Coffee locations in the United Arab Emirates.

The project required coordinating with more than 300 employees across 50 locations in the UAE by automating the process of manual data collection.

Al-Sayer Holding, a major trading company that oversees Caribou Coffee’s global growth strategy in the Middle East and Turkey, was seeking an automated data collection solution.

The company’s previous method of manual time & attendance data capturing was plagued by a number of issues, including unreliability, backtracking, and complications in further processing.

A solution in which data can be collected automatically with the ability to integrate with the internal resource management software was required.

Suprema’s BioLite Net is a compact IP fingerprint terminal that is equipped with access control and time and attendance features.

The device also offers IP65 rated protection against dust and water making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

It features a simplified user interface and is designed for applications that require basic user interaction and a wide range of installation environments.

Caribou Coffee will use BioLite Net to collect reliable employee biometric data that will be centralized in their corporate office and will effectively manage a constantly changing workforce.
