HYPR Corp. announced it has named Dimitri Sirota as a board advisor.

Sirota is a seasoned business executive and industry expert in the cyber security sector, having guided enterprise products from inception to market, and on to hundreds of enterprise customers.

He most recently served as SVP of strategy for the security and API business units at CA Technologies after the company acquired Layer 7 Technologies in May 2013.

Prior to that, he served as chief strategy and marketing officer for Layer 7 Technologies.

In addition to HYPR Corp., Sirota currently serves as a board advisor to Tapstream and TelemetryApp Services Inc.

“Dimitri’s c-level experience is a welcome addition to the team at HYPR as we amplify our core offering of biometric authentication to an already diverse array of enterprise customers,” said HYPR Corp. in a statement. “We look forward to evolving the HYPR biometric cloud with Dimitri’s enterprise focused activism as a trusted board advisor and mentor.”

Previously reported, HYPR Corp. submitted its biometric one-time password (OTP) authenticator, HYPR Token, for testing and approval of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 Level 3 validation for tamper proofing.
