ISS launches compact biometric device with HID Lumidigm and iClass SE readers
ISS announced it has launched its compact biometric terminal LM Mini integrated with HID Lumidigm and iClass SE readers.
ISS LM mini offers 15,000 fingerprint templates, 100,000 users and 150,000 transactions storage capacity, TCP/IP and Wiegand communication features.
HID Lumidigm’s patented multispectral imaging technology ensures strong fingerprint detection and verification every time, regardless of whether the fingers are wet, dry, greasy or otherwise difficult to read fingerprints.
The device also provides the unlimited version of time and attendance software and robust SDK (.Net and Java) for OEM and system integrators, along with Realtime Web push data service, support for MS Access, MS SQL, My SQL and Oracle databases.
ISS LM series models are stand alone and NAS controller compatible access control solutions with Wiegand input and output features.
The company’s product design and manufacturing preparation starts off with the selection and refinement of the components, most of which are studied for reliability and continuous availability.
Its advanced technology and processes have significantly improved the quality of the PCB, component assembly and testing, including RoHS compliant manufacturing facilities and advanced technology tools.
Additionally, the automated SMT assembly technology at ISS’ captive facilities have reduced their overall production cycles, while strict adherence to anti-static technology has also helped increase product life.
Every aspect of the product development is done completely inhouse by an efficient and qualified workforce at ISS, including electronics design, board design, mould design, firmware development and application software development.
Previously reported, ISS recently launched iSattva, a desktop time and attendance terminal powered by HID Lumidigm Venus and Mercury biometric fingerprint sensors.
