Sentenial payment solution implements Natural Security biometric authentication standard

Sentenial recently announced that it implemented Natural Security Alliance’s strong biometric authentication standard in its Nuapay payment solution.

By adopting the Natural Security Alliance authorization standard, Sentenial is able to make its Nuapay payment solution accessible for face-to-face direct debits at a physical point of sale.

“This announcement confirms the operational readiness of our authentication standard and its suitability for making all electronic transactions possible,” said Cédric Hozanne, CEO of Natural Security Alliance. “Now direct debits can also benefit from the simplified user experience that makes transactions quick to carry out while guaranteeing explicit user consent.”

Natural Security’s standard applies the “one-click” approach to a wider range of scenarios, making it easy for end users to perform debit transactions.

Additionally, Natural Security’s standard facilitates business for service providers by decreasing the number of abandoned transactions.

Natural Security’s cloud-based ACH solution is ideal for both small businesses seeking to start with direct debits and large enterprises looking for improved payment service at the best price.

“As a Fintech industry leader, we want to offer our customers the highest security standards to give payers confidence and to reduce the risk of fraud,” said Brian Hanrahan, CCO of Sentenial. “Being a member of the Natural Security Alliance cements Sentenial’s position as an innovator in payment processing by introducing direct debit transaction at the point of sale.”

Natural Security’s standard offers a strong authentication method that combines biometrics with a personal device to provide security for authentication data associated with the use of a dedicated personal device for transactions, for all data exchanges during transactions, and for transactions that rely on biometrics associating the personal device with its owner.
