ImageWare Systems to provide biometric authentication to CDW customers

ImageWare Systems announced that it is partnering with IT solutions firm CDW Corporation to offer customers IWS biometric authentication products for mobile and cloud use cases.

GoVerifyID combines multimodal biometrics with a mobile device to provide out-of-band verification, without the need for any mobile front-end coding. The functionality can also be integrated into existing enterprise applications.

The IWS CloudID full product suite features configurable, server-based software modules designed to add or improve cloud identity management and credential issuance capabilities for existing applications.

Both GoVerifyID and CloudID offer users an easily integrated and scalable identity management solution for their devices.

“CDW is a leading provider of integrated, critical IT solutions and has a large, diversified customer base consisting of private businesses, government entities, educational institutions, and healthcare companies,” said Jim Miller, ImageWare’s chairman and CEO.

“The partnership gives CDW customers the opportunity to use patented and proven biometric authentication to secure confidential information in the cloud or on their mobile device. This partnership is another significant step in rolling out our multimodal biometric identity management products to the commercial market.”

Previously reported, ImageWare Systems reported the financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2015, as well as updating the company’s progress since its last quarterly update on May 11, 2015.
