Neurotechnology releases new version of its biometric time and attendance software
Neurotechnology announced it has released NCheck Bio Attendance 3.0, its time and attendance tracking software that uses fingerprint or face biometrics.
The latest version of NCheck Bio Attendance includes new features and capabilities that support remote workers, enable shift logging and provide user group reporting.
The software also features the latest fingerprint and face identification algorithms from Neurotechnology with a new simplified interface across Android devices, PCs and the web.
NCheck provides accurate biometric identification and it doesn’t require employees to carry RFID tokens or remember PINs or passwords.
The mobile interface can be used by traveling employees and remote workers, even at construction sites where PCs or network connections may not be readily available.
“This major update to NCheck offers more flexibility than many other biometric time-attendance solutions in the market because it is not tied to any particular scanner hardware,” said Vaidas Didvalis, NCheck project manager for Neurotechnology. “Easy integration with other systems can be done using the flexible reporting tools and data export capabilities.”
NCheck Bio Attendance 3.0 includes several significant improvements and features, including new GPS logging capabilities which tracks a user’s geographical location at each check-in or check-out event as well as the number of hours remote employees spend in different locations.
The software’s database synchronization with a new Android client supports workers in remote locations where there is limited or no network connection. The solution records time and attendance information while offline and then automatically synchronizes the data with the NCheck server once a network connection is established.
Additionally, the user grouping functionality enables companies with multiple branches to manage users in defined groups as opposed to individuals. The solution’s shift support and attendance planning capabilities allow the creation of reports based on defined shift times and pre-defined attendance plans.
NCheck Bio Attendance can be connected to work as a single system, enabling the use of multiple check-in points or attendance kiosks around work sites or facilities.
Companies can install the software on standard Windows PCs and off-the shelf Android devices while using it with basic PC webcams, built-in cameras on devices or 50 different fingerprint scanner models.
NCheck can be used in standalone or network-based systems. Additionally, custom application modifications can also be made on request.
The latest version of NCheck is available as a free upgrade to existing NCheck customers, and new users are able to download the solution for a 30-day trial.
Neurotechnology is offering NCheck Bio Attendance 3.0 and its entire biometric product line through its website or from distributors worldwide.
Previously reported, Neurotechnology released SentiVeillance 4.0 software development kit (SDK) which provides biometric face identification and object tracking for video surveillance systems.
