Precise Biometrics and Fingerprint Cards technology in new ZTE Blade A1 smartphone

 

Precise Biometrics and FPC fingerprint technology has been integrated into the new ZTE Blade A1 smartphone. The ZTE Blade A1 uses the FPC1025 touch sensor and Precise Biometrics’ product for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices, Precise BioMatch Mobile.

Precise Biometrics recently announced that 20 smartphone makers are using its software for fingerprint authentication on mobile devices and that Precise BioMatch Mobile is now running on more than 50 different mobile devices sold worldwide.

Håkan Persson, CEO of Precise Biometrics, commented, “we are proud of the confidence shown in our products, and we are committed to keep innovating and delivering fingerprint software that creates a superior user experience on small sensors”.

Previously reported, Precise and FPC said that the Huawei Changxiang 5S smartphone also uses the FPC1025 touch sensor and Precise BioMatch Mobile.
