Integrated Biometrics presenting at ID4Africa and other industry events

In an effort to to share know-how and advances in its patented light emitting sensor (LES) film, Integrated Biometrics is sending key members of its leadership and technology team to discuss technological best practices with systems integrators and end users in government, financial, and healthcare marketplaces at multiple high-profile events in the U.S. and overseas this spring.

“The past couple of years have seen critical, unforeseen challenges in human migration all across the globe,” said the company’s President Mike Grimes. “Governments, military, and law enforcement are looking to mobile fingerprint biometrics to help manage what would otherwise be an overwhelming burden on border security operations.”

In addition to border security, Grimes says interest in biometrics is increasing for use in enrollment and verification in the financial sector such as point-of-sale and access to healthcare, especially in African countries that are establishing national ID programs.

“We are heavily involved in the event ID4Africa in Rwanda this May, as organizations such as the United Nations and World Bank become more engaged in helping citizens establish legal identities via biometrics in order to benefit from Africa’s accelerating economic growth,” Grimes explained.

In addition to ID4Africa, Integrated Biometrics will be participating at Secure Document World in London; the Biometrics Institute’s ID at the Borders & The Movement of People in Amsterdam; the Michigan Biometrics Conference in Grand Rapids; Secure Identification in Riga, Latvia; the Biometrics Institute’s Asia-Pacific Conference 2016 in Sydney, Australia; The American Jail Association conference in Austin, Texas, and; The International Chief’s of Police Conference in San Diego.

Last month, Integrated Biometrics sent a team led by company VP David Gerulsi to Capitol Hill to advocate for increased use of new biometric enrollment and verification technology to address emerging global issues.
