Appdome for BehavioSec enables mobile biometric authentication

Appdome has partnered with BehavioSec to deliver Appdome for BehavioSec, which enables mobile developers and mobility professionals to rapidly integrate advanced biometric and behavior based authentication solutions with current mobile apps without any code changes.

BehavioSec’s behavioral biometrics solution works in real time, preventing fraudulent activity and attacks by verifying end users by their unique patterns while handling their device.

The technology captures specific user information, analyzing details of the user’s keystrokes, press and sequence, as well as their device type and address.

“Widely used by leading banks and other risk averse organizations worldwide, BehavioSec’s impressive solutions are a great addition to the rich and diverse ecosystem of offerings on the Appdome platform — ranging from world-class mobile security, analytics, mobility management solutions and more,” said Appdome CEO Tom Tovar. “Through turn-key partnerships such as this one, Appdome solves the constant resource shortage and skill mismatch that has held back mobility at scale in the modern enterprise.”

Through the partnership, Appdome extends the reach and applicability of the BehavioSec SDK to ultimately deliver a faster implementation time for enterprise customers and financial institutions.

Any ongoing maintenance issues are eliminated as a result of BehavioSec SDK updates, which are delivered automatically on the Appdome cloud-based platform.

“Our customers are generally plagued by constant stress on one of their most precious resources, their mobile app developers – which inevitably leads to unavoidable delays,” said BehavioSec CEO Neil Costigan. “This is one of the many reasons we love Appdome’s ingenious ‘one click’ fusion to integrate our technology to customer apps, without the need to further tax scarce mobile app developer resources.”

Available under Appdome’s ‘mobile identity’ category, the BehavioSec SDK enables developers and citizen-integrators to seamlessly and quickly protect their end-users while continuing to implement any changes without re-writing the app’s code.

Previously reported, BehavioSec and NetGuardians partnered to leverage their complementary technologies to provide comprehensive fraud protection to both financial institutions and their clients around the world.
