Laxton consolidates South Africa office into EMEA office in Amsterdam
Laxton announced today its decision to centralize company resources in South Africa into its European office in Amsterdam, which has become its regional headquarters focused on the broader EMEA region. This change will allow the company to concentrate on its extensive manufacturing expertise as well as better support a partner-based go to market approach.
Laxton has been operating in South Africa and the African market for over 15 years delivering large scale election, identity, and self service projects and recently introduced the Chameleon multi-modal biometric product range.
With the introduction of the Chameleon product line Laxton now has two primary go to market approaches, large scale bespoke project offerings and flagship products which include off-the-shelf available stock items in the Chameleon and Voreza Rugged Laptop line. Flagship products will be distributed through a traditional channel partner model business approach, leveraging local resellers focused on identity management offerings, on a country or regional basis.
The company notes that it is focused on broadening its partner-based approach to deliver projects globally and that these changes will expand its capabilities across the election, identity, and self service solution portfolios, as well as bring more flagship offerings to its channel partners and customers.
Last November Laxton appointed Nick Perkins to head up its Amsterdam office.
