Applied Recognition technology powers Tag That Photo biometric recognition features

Photo organization application Tag That Photo has deployed Applied Recognition biometric technology to power its facial recognition features. The patented enterprise-grade face recognition technology enables users to enjoy a suite of photo organization tools for face detection, tagging and organization.

Tag That Photo users can organize their images offline and can store photos locally or in the cloud. According to the announcement, the Windows desktop solution scales to hundreds of thousands of images without loss of performance and imports existing tags for Picasa, Microsoft Gallery, and Fotobounce users.

Applied Recognition has been developing and refining its face recognition engine for more than ten years. It is used by a wide range of organizations to biometrically-enable critical digital processes. Earlier this the year the company partnered with Intellicheck to incorporate one another’s technology into each partner’s respective product offerings.
