Global Payment Services joins Eazy Financial Services biometric payment network

Eazy Financial Services has entered into a strategic partnership with Global Payment Services (GPS) that will have GPS join the eazyNet Biometric Payment Network and enable GPS’s banking customers to perform transactions including cash withdrawals and purchases at any point-of-sale, both in the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad, through eazyNet.

The partnership will also enable Bahrain-based Eazy to scale out through GPS’s wide footprint in the Middle East and North Africa, in line with the company’s efforts to enable eazyNet customers to conduct facilitated payments via fingerprint authentication in the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad.

The announcement notes that Eazy, in collaboration with GPS, expects to soon offer premium solutions and financial products to the banking sector through eazyNet, in line with the directives and strategies of the Central Bank of Bahrain that were outlined for the banking industry; using advanced technology to improve the quality of banking services provided to citizens and residents of the Kingdom.

Payment gateway channel SADAD, Ithmaar Bank and Al Baraka Islamic Bank recently joins Eazy’s biometric payment network. The Bahraini fintech firm shuffled up its executive management team earlier this year.
