ScreenCheck brings IDloop contactless fingerprint scanner to Middle East

IDloop has a new partnership with ScreenCheck Middle East to bring its FBI‑certified contactless fingerprint scanner, CFS flats, to the UAE.

The partnership expands access to advanced biometric identification across airports, border control, government services and the financial sector.

ScreenCheck will distribute IDloop’s CFS flats device across the region. It marks the first time the 3D contactless scanner is officially available in the UAE.

The system captures high‑resolution 3D fingerprint biometric data and converts it into fully compatible 2D images, allowing organizations to adopt touchless fingerprinting without replacing existing biometric infrastructure.

IDloop CEO Jörg Reinhold said the Middle East’s focus on security and seamless digital experiences makes it a strong fit for contactless biometrics. “We see enormous potential for contactless biometrics in the UAE and the wider Middle East,” he said.

Together with ScreenCheck Middle East, we’re excited to make our solutions accessible to more customers and set new standards for secure and convenient biometric identification.”

CFS flats is designed for high‑assurance identity verification and enrolment, capturing four flat fingerprints simultaneously and producing 500 PPI government‑standard images. The device supports Python and C++ APIs and integrates with existing systems through standard formats including PNG, JPEG2000, BMP and WSQ.

Featuring sub‑100‑millisecond capture speeds and an IP54 rating, according to ScreenCheck’s website, the CFS flats is aimed at demanding operational environments such as border checkpoints, smart city infrastructure, banking, enterprise access control and law enforcement.

ScreenCheck’s distribution will make the technology available to UAE organizations and those across the region.
