Control4 to resell Invixium’s fingerprint recognition devices

Automation systems firm Control4 Corporation has signed an agreement with Invixium Inc. to resell Invixium’s fingerprint biometric devices via its online marketplace.

Invixium products have undergone and passed Control4 product certification, and as a result, Invixium’s Mycro, Sense and Touch fingerprint biometric devices will be made available on the Control4 online Marketplace by the end of March.

Control4 has assured its dealers that Invixium’s fingerprint biometric products, which were developed on Android OS, have all passed Invixium and Control4 integrated testing.

When integrated with a Control4 system, Invixium’s IP-enabled devices allow for profiling and personalization of the automated system to grant access only to enrolled users.

Users can simply scan their finger to activate lights, audio equipment and appliance, all without the use of keys, PINs or passwords.

“We are excited to be partnered with Control4 as their products and solutions have mass appeal and tremendous reputation in the smart home space,” says Invixium CEO and president Shiraz Kapadia. “This collaboration will allow Control4 Dealers and installers a great opportunity to expand their installation offerings now with personalized biometric access.”

Invixium will be showcasing the products at the Control4 stand this week at the Integrated System Europe exhibition in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
