ICAP puts biometric identification and object location patent portfolios up for sale

ICAP Patent Brokerage has announced that two positions and tracking IP portfolios from TrackThings LLC, which include solutions for biometric identification and locating objects are now for sale.

These IP portfolios will be included in the upcoming sealed bid event taking place September 26, 2013, according to the company.

“We are excited to offer these patented identification and tracking technologies to our global base of IP buyers,” Dean Becker, CEO of ICAP Brokerage said. “These portfolios are highly relevant to companies active in social networking, smart phone technology and providing software.”

Lot 020, the biometric identification patent is a system of face and voice recognition that when utilized, assists a user in recalling individuals. During interactions, that person’s identity is displayed on the screen of the user’s portable device, and is also transmitted to a wireless hearing aid inserted into the ear of the user.

According to ICAP, bids for these two lots will be accepted Sept. 24-26, 2013.
