Argus Global details new biometric platform

Argus Global has announced plans to launch a new biometric product platform, called True Identity.

According to the company, True Identity will deliver a comprehensive biometric identity management suite with multiple biometric capabilities. Comprising multiple biometric applications into one secure and customizable package, Argus says the new platform is usable with any biometric device or algorithm.

Specifically, the new platform is designed to manage access control, asset tracking, time capture, visitor management, touch screen kiosk applications, electronic key safe management and movement control, asset management using RFID, 2D barcode or tokens.

Reported previously, Argus recently announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Iris ID for Australia and New Zealand.
