Entertech, Millennium Group ink partnership for biometric access control
Entertech Systems, the US operating partner for Suprema, along with Millennium Group, have announced that both companies are working together to deliver biometric access control systems to Millennium’s dealer channels.
Under this new deal, Millennium now offers integrated security management solutions with Suprema biometric devices. The companies say this serves customer needs in the healthcare and luxury high-rise condominium markets. Suprema devices integrated into Millennium products include the BioEntry W, BioEntry Plus and BioStation T2.
“This new relationship with Entertech Systems provides our customers a higher level security application. With Suprema biometric devices and expert technical support from Entertech Systems, this next level of security eliminates the need for keys, key fobs, codes and access cards,” Millennium Group’s CEO Gregory Goldman said.
According to recent research, the global electronic access control market is set to reach $16.3 billion by 2017, at a CAGR of 7 percent from 2012 to 2017.
“Our mission at Entertech Systems is to help organizations overcome the obstacles to mainstream adoption of biometric access control, which include reducing cost, complexity and user on-boarding issues,” said Rob Douglas, CEO of Entertech Systems. “Together with Millennium Group we will enhance access control significantly – to provide enhanced safety and security to users in the healthcare and luxury high-rise markets.”
Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, Entertech also recently inked a strategic partnership with Software House for Suprema biometric devices and readers – also for access control solutions.
