NEC to showcase integrated security solutions at Intersec 2014

 

NEC has just announced that it will showcase a wide range of its security solutions, including its biometric and cyber security technologies and a new video analytics system at Intersec 2014, set to take place from Jan. 19-21 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

According to the company, NEC will demonstrate its NeoFace face recognition technology, its information security and counterintelligence service, as well as its range of behavior analysis technologies.

The company will also have its crowd behavior analysis tools on hand, which uses security camera footage and real-time analysis to detect accidents, violence and public disorder.

“NEC is in a unique position to help private and public organizations take a multi-layered approach to protecting themselves from emerging physical and cyber security threats and to reduce the associated public safety, reputation and financial risks,” Noboru Takahashi, President and CEO for NEC Saudi Arabia said. “Through a combination of market leading products and services, ongoing R&D and partnerships with key international security agencies like Interpol, NEC has a relentless focus on countering the threat of highly organized criminals on a global basis.”

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, NEC was recently recognized by Frost & Sullivan for its customer value. Specifically, the company was given the Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Leadership for its facial recognition systems.
