smplsolutions becomes authorized distributor for Fujitsu palm vein biometrics

Fujitsu Frontech North America has announced that smplsolutions has signed an agreement to become an authorized distributor of the PalmEntry physical access control system.

Specifically, smplsolutions will work with its partners to integrate the Fujitsu biometric palm vein solution into existing and new customer systems.

Smplsolutions is a provider of business communications technology.

“Fujitsu’s PalmSecure technology has proven to be a very reliable and robust technology. We feel very confident recommending it to our customers in the highly-demanding communications industry,” David Case, President and CEO of smplsolutions said. “The robust software, Ultra Manager Enterprise (UME) is easy to use and provides all the functionality end users are looking for in access management system. As a result, we believe the market will embrace this solution.”

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, Fujitsu recently announced a new partnership with ImageWare Systems for the development of a multi-modal cloud biometric system.

“We are delighted that smplsolutions has decided to broaden their strategic relationship with Fujitsu to include the PalmEntry system with their customers,” Randy Fox, vice president, currency handling and identification product solutions, Fujitsu Frontech North America said. “There are other forms of biometric authentication solutions on the market, but PalmSecure biometric technology has already shown true flexibility in a number of markets. Fujitsu’s integrated PalmEntry system will truly provide smplsolutions added value to their partners and customers who desire highly reliable authentication, access control and privacy.”
