Technology Training Corporation announces ‘Biometrics Systems Technologies’ symposium in D.C.

The Technology Training Corporation has announced the “Biometrics Systems Technologies” symposium, set to take place in Washington, D.C., from June 3-4, 2014.

According to the organizers, the new symposium promises to bring together government and industry experts at the forefront of developing the next generation of analytics-based biometrics, including representation from DFBA, DoD, PM Biometrics, DIA, DARPA, DHS, FBI, DOJ, OPNAV, HQ USMC, AFOSI, NIST GAO, Northrop Grumman, BAE, IBM, SRI, BehavioSEC, CrossMatch and MorphoTrust.

Among topics addressed and questions examined at this event, TTC points to: “What is the future of key Government biometric and biometric data analytic programs and initiatives?;  How can we cope with, and much less manage, the ever-increasing volume of biometric inputs?;  How can the large-scale analytics associated with “big data” help?;  What role will “the cloud” play?”

Don Salo, the director of the Defense Forensics and Biometrics Agency, DoD/US Army will give the opening keynote, “DFBA’s Role in DoD Biometrics.”
