Intelligent Systems and Solutions announced it has released ISS LM01, the company’s first standalone biometric and RFID access control terminal.

ISS launched LM01 last month at IFSEC India 2014, a major fire safety and security exhibition and conference held in New Delhi.

Housed in a sturdy ABS plastic enclosure and manufactured using HID and Lumidigm multi-spectral imaging (patented) technologies, the compact LM01 biometric and RFID access control terminal can be used by enterprises in industrial environments.

The device is designed to simultaneously read the surface and sub surface to capture clear and clean images every time, even in scenarios where surface features are absent or hard to distinguish because of age, dirt, finger pressure, skin and environmental conditions.

“The LM01 is designed for the needs of growing businesses that are experiencing increased access control needs and for integrating seamlessly with available access controllers, stand alone and network based,” said Bharath Kumar, founder and CEO at ISS. “The LM01 is a fully customizable solution that provides flexibility for the customers to choose product features and access controllers based on their need and not on a specific type or make.”

LM01 supports standalone operation for local authentication or server based remote authentication, multi-application for door access control, time and attendance, visitor management, lobby management, and many other functions.

The device offers multiple access settings, including biometrics, Smart Card or PIN, while its modular design allows for easy integration with third-party, multi-door controllers.

All LM products include a one-year warranty and can be purchased in India and internationally via ISS’ authorized distributors and channel partners.
